What is a Webinar?

What is a Webinar (online seminar)?

Webinar is an abbreviation for "Web-based seminar," an online event for delivering interactive presentations between specified presenters and a large remote audience via the web.

A key feature of a Webinar is its interactive elements -- the ability to give, receive and discuss information. It is an easy, inexpensive and convenient way to get educated on relevant industry topics and current trends.

What system requirements are needed to view and listen to a Webinar?

All you need is a computer with an Internet connection and a telephone to join METTLER TOLEDO Webinars. You do not need computer speakers to listen to METTLER TOLEDO Webinars.

What is the difference between a live Webinar and an archive (on-demand) Webinar?

The live Webinar is only available at the time and date noted, this is the initial broadcast, during which you will hear the presentation and be able to ask questions to the presenter(s). The recording is then archived and posted on the www.mt.com to view at your convenience. Listening to an archived (on-demand) Webinar doesn’t allow participants to ask the questions and get answers in real time.
