Plug ‘n’ Weigh with New Weighing Platforms

The new weighing platforms are rugged, durable and easy to handle. This makes them adaptable to each individual requirements for any industrial usage. Moreover, a direct connection with the digital scale interface allows to simply plug in the weighing platform and start weighing.

The new weighing platform PFA579(x)lift is able to withstand any industrial environments where regular cleaning matters. The reinforced load plate and the welded tubular frame guarantee maximum torsion resistance at a low overall height of only 80 mm. Opening and closing procedures require minimum energy thanks to optimized pneumatic springs.

Hygienic design for any application areas
Cross-contaminations have no chance anymore with the new PFA779lift’s hygienic design thanks to the hermetically welded special section tubes and the measuring cell cables laid in the scale’s interior and tightened by screwed cable glands. The design enables detection of potential contamination spots and facilitates cleaning in all areas of the scale. All moveable bearings are sealed by synthetic seals which avoid hidden dirt or even crevice corrosion.

The "swinging" scales: how metrology and reliability make a difference
The PFA579(x)lift and PFA779lift floor scales convince by outstanding metrological features. The special rocker foot enables the scale to oscillate freely and to absorb vibrations and movements such as the transverse forces acting during the loading and unloading procedures. This allows for fast, accurate and repeatable weighing results – constantly and consistently

Hazardous area requirements? – No problem
The standard models of the PFA579lift and PFA779lift line can be used in both safe and hazardous areas of Category 3 at no additional cost. Finally the hazardous area version PFA579xlift can be used in Zones 1 and 21 in conjunction with the numerous, intrinsically safe display units, such as IND560x, IND226x with an ex-proof power supply unit or outside the zone with an interface adapter.
